Caroline and David travelled from Ireland to celebrate their symbolic ceremony in the gardens of Borgo di Tragliata, on a March afternoon when the Roman countryside was just waking up. Among the stones of the old farmstead and the green glowing in the afternoon light, there was one moment that holds the whole day: when David saw Caroline, his tears spoke before any vow.
